The 11lution Project
11lution is an art project and experiment in collaboration by Don Holmsten, Vicki Myers, and Simon
Aitchison. They created a large double sided canvas piece together by rotating shifts. The first shift involved
all three starting together. After that, each artist took a solo shift in turn until each had taken 9 shifts. The
final shift was again all three artists together putting on the finishing touches. Each artist had a total of 11
shifts with the project, hence the title, 11lution.
After months of collaboration, the finished project is now on display at Artpoint. Head over there and check it
out. In the mean time, here are some images of the 11lution project as it has developed over the past few
months.
