Artist's Statement
I paint to transcend everyday life. When I paint I am 100% occupied, so in a very real sense I inhabit an entirely
different dimension. It is that total commitment that allows me to make work that at least pleases my own very
judgmental eye.
Biography
I'm the associate art editor of Mad Hatters' Review and have about a hundred paintings published online. I also have
my work in 10 online galleries. My painting 'Terminal 4' is being projected onto two walls on Frinkle Sreet as part of an
exhibiton in York, UK. I am currently working on paintings to be shown sometime in the future at the Amsterdam
Whitney Gallery in Chelsea NYC. www.sitrahahra.com.
